The software can be used to create both static and dynamic catalog-based shopping carts that seamlessly integrate with Web sites built with Macromedia Dreamweaver, UltraDev, or with Microsoft FrontPage. This eliminates the need for developers to build their own carts from scratch or use stand-alone shopping cart solutions that lack the customizability to fit with existing site designs.Shopping carts built with SalesCart-X can include a comprehensive feature set, including volume and whole-order discounts, customizable product attributes, order retrieval for repeat customers, alternative checkout paths, and the ability to link to additional information or upsell options during checkout. Requirements: · RedHat LINUX (Although not tested with other versions of the UNIX operating system, other versions may work but are not certified to run nor supported without a written and approved porting request) · Apache Web Server 1.3, 2.0, or greater · PHP 4.0.5 & 4.22 certified (Other greater versions should work) · mySQL 3.22 & 3.24 certified (Other greater versions should work) · SendMail support recommended (If you want to send out email receipts)
